Will's World 02 01 2010

While in Newport Beach for an appointment, I had a very uneasy feeling. It was as if something bad was about to happen. And this feeling often churns through my body when I’m in certain parts of this city. Since I was early for my appointment, I started contemplating why I had these feelings. I started taking photos of the buildings around the lot where I had parked my truck. I then realized how much I disliked the cold, artificial, blank, box-like structures that surrounded me. Ugh!!! I know, I know, some folks actually enjoy this type of architecture, but to me, these beige, sand-colored structures look uninviting, and more suited for hardware than for people.

Of course, our environment and our associates often have a great deal to do with how we feel. Be careful where you hang out and who you hang out with.  Even pelican can be crushed by sand-colored structures.
